Clocking 54 today has made me reflective. Recollecting how far God has brought me.
People focus on the glam and assume I have always had it all but that is not true.
I have had to sell in the market, lose businesses, lose my father, lose my child, be childless for 9 years the list goes on and on.
I have had to deal with fame- its advantages and disadvantages. Like any person in the ministry who also pursues career, my works have had to take me away from my family several times. I have been stressed but I keep my eyes on the author and finisher of my life. Somehow, He makes all the stress worth it. Somehow, He strengthens me when I think I am weak.
Somehow, He orders my steps and the steps of my family and loved ones.
Somehow, He keeps using me for His work.
Today, I reflect on how hard I have had to work with What God has given me and I can only be grateful He made grace available to me. I believe in Jesus Christ and I believe He has brought me this far. The journey has not been easy but it has been worthwhile. God is a faithful God. He will not let you leave His presence empty handed. He rewards those who serve Him diligently.
